Rev. Dr. Bonnie Dlott is our senior minister, serving NVUU since 2006. She holds an undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley and a PhD from the UCLA School of Medicine in Biological Chemistry. After discovering Unitarian Universalism in 1996 she experienced a powerful calling to the ministry.
Rev. Bonnie graduated from Starr King School for the Ministry in 2005, doing her internship at the UU Fellowship of Sunnyvale. She has served on the National Board of CUUPS and on the Board of the Napa Interfaith Council. Rev. Bonnie is a former teacher / trainer and strong supporter of the Our Whole Lives program.
Rev. Bonnie has been serving NVUU since 2006 describing herself as an “Earth-based mystic”. She lives in Pleasant Hill with her husband. They have two grown children. In her spare time she cooks, backpacks in the Sierras, and goofs around.

Rev. Jeanelyse Doran Adams is our assistant minister, serving NVUU since August of 2016.
Her educational background is in early childhood development. She graduated from Starr King School for the Ministry in 2008 where she concentrated on adult faith formation. She also has experience in community organizing, small group ministry and spiritual direction. Prior to joining NVUU, she served congregations on the Congregational Life Staff in the Pacific Western Region of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
Rev. Jeanelyse is committed to liberating liberal religious values and to building Beloved Community. Her portfolio will include social justice and religious education. Jeanelyse lives in Woodland where she gardens and serves as a community panelist for restorative justice in Neighborhood Court. She delights in her grown sons, new daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
