Attend a Sunday Service. Most of the year, our main Sunday service takes place at 11:00 AM. This service is traditional, including hymns, readings, times of reflection, and a sermon. At 9:30 AM we offer a smaller, discussion-based gathering that may include an informal presentation or a sermon which serves as a basis for conversation. Audience participation is welcomed, and there are no hymns, readings, or times of reflection. However, in Summer we have a single service at 10AM.
Stay for Coffee Hour. After main Sunday service, volunteers work hard at providing an offering of coffee, tea and refreshments. Join us as we visit and make new friends during our weekly social hour.
Connect with Us. We offer a weekly email digest of events and announcements. This digest is a great way to keep track of what’s happening each week. Additionally, we publish a monthly electronic newsletter. To sign up for either the digest or newsletter, please send an email to [email protected]. We also maintain a Facebook page where we post upcoming sermons and presentations.
Attend a Chalice Circle. Circles have been set up in regional areas that our Fellowship serves: Vallejo & Benicia, and Sonoma on different evenings once a month. These Circles give members and friends a chance to spend two hours discussing topics of interest on a deeper level, while getting to know one another better.
Join a Committee. We have a diverse offering of groups that socialize and celebrate life together, that challenge their minds and enrich their spirits, as well as leaders who collaborate to handle the business of the Fellowship.
Engage with Social Justice. You are welcome to attend a rally, write letters, develop outreach programs and improve the world. Learn more on our Social Justice page.
Consider membership. If you are interested in deepening your relationship with this community and are ready to explore membership, the first step is to get in touch with our minister. She will be delighted to schedule a conversation about the rights and responsibilities of membership at NVUU. Please contact Rev. Bonnie Dlott at (707) 226-9220 or [email protected].
